Lone Mountain Ranch is a cherished part of our family’s story and holds historical treasures from New Mexico’s past. As stewards of the land, we consider it our responsibility to conserve and nurture this land and the broader environment for generations to come.

We make every effort we can to reduce impact on the environment we can while continuing to investigate opportunities to improve. Some specific initiatives we have implemented in our operations include:

  • Rotational Pasture System to perpetuate our ranchland ecosystem and diversity
  • Non-irrigated pastures
  • Single 64-acre irrigated pasture for intensive grazing
  • Solar powered fences
  • Traditional windmill powered water drinkers
  • Supporting local farmers
